Opening Reception: Artists Talk & Walk

ARTINA 2026: Ripples of Ten Years, an annual outdoor sculpture exhibition on the Sandy Spring Museum’s grounds organized in partnership with the Washington Sculptors Group, will be on view from September 20 to November 8, 2026.
The opening reception will be held in the Dr. Bird reception room inside the museum. The inaugural Jeff Chyatte Memorial Award: $500 “Best in Show” selected by the juror will be announced at the opening reception. Take a walk around the museum grounds and explore the sculptures. Participating artists will share insights about their work’s inspirations, processes, and material sources.

The museum grounds are open to the public daily from dawn till dusk. Admission is free.
