Floyd Roberts, artist, is nationally recognized. Born in the West Indies on the island of Trinidad, he moved to the United States at 13 year of age. Specializing in Afro-Centric Folk Art, his pieces include sculpture in wood, stone, mixed media, clay and metal. Floyd Roberts’ work has been on display at numerous Art Galleries and exhibitions in the Washington, D.C. area, New York, Chicago and Charlotte. Floyd graduated from the Corcoran School of Art and Design with a B.A. in Fine Arts in 1984.
