Studio Tour with Sam Noto

Landsculpture Gardens

Saturday, November 7, 2026, 2:00pm

Join Washington Sculptors Group for a guided tour with Sam Noto through the multilevel outdoor sculpture garden Landsculpture Gardens, including major works created in his Silver Spring, MD studio. The museum of work displayed in his home includes examples of every media and style Noto has worked in over a lifetime of creating sculpture. Noto’s studio and Landsculpture Gardens in Silver Spring, MD, serve as a sanctuary for creation and inspiration.

Sam Noto believes that materials guide the creative process. His journey began with a childhood curiosity—finding beauty in discarded objects—and evolved into a lifelong pursuit of sculptural excellence. Holding an MFA in sculpture and with decades of exhibitions worldwide, his work is featured in private and public collections, including the American University’s Katzen Arts Center.

Sam, 87, is a senior sculptor, educator, and Vietnam veteran. He was an early WSG Board member and active in the organization for several years. Sam and his wife, Charleen, are very pleased to invite WSG members and guests to tour their home and outdoor sculpture garden on Saturday, November 7th from 2:00-5:00 pm

Space is Limited, Registration Required. RSVP using the link below.
