Tour the MLK Maker Labs at the DC Public Library with WSG Member James Mallos.

In celebration of International Sculpture Day, on Saturday, April 25, at 11 am, we will take a guided tour of the spacious and modern Labs at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, just steps away from the Gallery Place Metro Station. In addition to up-to-date fabrication equipment (Universal, Ultimaker, Prusa, and Cricut) the Labs also has sewing machines, a sound recording studio, and capabilities for photo, video, and audio conversion to digital. (Residents of nearby counties can obtain DC library cards that enable use of the Labs.)

Meet immediately following the tour for coffee or lunch at Marianne’s Cafe on the 1st Floor.

This event celebrates International Sculpture Day (ISDay), a worldwide celebration event to further the International Sculpture Center’s (ISC) mission of advancing the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society.

Registration is Required! Limited to 24 participants
