Floyd Roberts was born in Trinidad and immigrated to the USA with his family as a teenager. He graduated from Corcoran School of Art in 1984 with a B.A. in Fine Arts. Floyd specializes in African American Folk Art. His pieces include sculptures in wood, stone, mixed media, clay, and metal. Floyd has exhibited in New York, Chicago, Charlotte, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and throughout the DC Metropolitan area.
