Sean Adams spent 35 years as a writer, editor and journalist before becoming an artist. He has studied drawing and printmaking in Virginia community colleges in Northern Virginia and Charlottesville, VA; sculpture at The Art League in Alexandria, VA; and painting at the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo, MD. As a sculptor, he works in wood and metal. He also does figure drawing in pastel, pyrography and other media. He is a partner in Art Life Ventures LLC with his wife, Trisha Adams, an oil painter. They live in the arts district in Herndon, VA.
