My clay sculptures focus on realistic portraits that honor the diversity of people. Working in clay allows me to shape the quiet strength, dignity, and individuality within each face. I aim to reveal that, despite our differences, we all share a common humanity — each of us made in the image of God. Through my work, I celebrate both what unites us and what makes us beautifully distinct. Every portrait in an invitation for viewers to recognize themselves in others, to see a reflection of their own story in the expressions, textures, and forms. I hope that encountering my sculptures encourages people to look beyond surface differences and recognize the shared spirit that connects us all.
