My work is about the interactions between the living world and things that make up the landscape—both natural and man-made. This work is influenced by uncertainty in the face of change, referencing both climate change and transitional phases in life. I cast hollow paper copies of solid objects, undermining their permanence and lending them an ephemeral quality. In this process I am reflecting on the ambiguity that can exist between what is natural and constructed in relation to displaced objects.
