I am currently working in mixed media. The majority of my current work incorporates extruded plastic filament, sometimes exclusively, and at other times in combination with other media and found objects.
My sculptures evoke life forms from the micro to the macro. I am intrigued by the organic world and how all matter coalesces. These pieces are delicate and sometimes translucent, revealing the inherent fragility of life forms.
My sculpture is biomorphic, combining elements from all forms and stages of life, active and inert, living and dead. My work can be simultaneously sensual, scientific and contemplative.
